Bobby deactivates and enters a similar temporary "sleeping" mode. Don't overthink it! KR activates again and is filled in on the situation. Further testing of CoPilot while Beef heads to rest on his cot in the command module.
CoPilot seems to be in regular condition but notifies the crew of an invisible frequency; non-visible light that is permeating the Aphrodite. CoPilot suggests attaching reactor power to the Warp Drive. KR accepts a project to route power from the reactor to the Warp Drive, and/or place a fresh Warp Core in the Warp Drive. It's company policy!
CoPilot displays a frightening simulation:

This fills KR with a sort of zealous frenzied mania. Marty shuts down all power to the Aphrodite as Igor tackles KR. Anti-gravity drops, lights shut down, and oxygen stops flowing. KR exclaims that he'll have to kill them for obstructing him. The crew is tampering with KR which is tampering with the company! "This is what they'll do to you!!!"
As Igor pins KR to the ground with his submachine gun, KR writhes around wildly. Marty shakily points his shotgun at the android. Marty approaches several times to help Igor pin the android, but can never get a hold.
"My father was a scientist, too!" KR sobs. His chest latches open and a sack of flesh with stitched skin and a thick-lidded soft eyeball blinks inside the mechanical shell. "The Company will take everything from you!! Even your bones!!!"
Igor backs off KR as the android twists hysterically against the wall. KR begins another speech as Marty pulls the trigger and slugs the poor flesh-sack against the ship like a squashed ant. Silence...
The Aphrodite is losing breathable air. Marty uses an extension plug to route power from the reactor to the command module. Life support returns. The lights flicker ever-so-slightly. Igor wakes one of his soldiers from cryosleep: Private Capella. The crew begin to make their way out of the Aphrodite as a knock is heard at the airlock. A teen named Dean (a Les Paul strapped to his back and Jimi Hendrix playing out of an old walkman-style device) says he's trying to find freedom. He plays a recording that was transmitted from the Dead Planet to the moon colony a week ago. It's evidence of life and safety somewhere on the planet. Dean is about to play a second recording that was transmitted only yesterday, when a metal scraping noise is heard deeper into the Aphrodite. The lights flicker again.
Igor guides everyone out of the ship, forcing Dean in a headlock. Dean escapes back to the colony by bribing Capella with some beers and cigarettes. Capella tries to smoke a cigarette through his vaccsuit. Marty tries the beer. Igor remembers: "Beef!"
Racing back into the Aphrodite. As the airlock closes Marty comms him: "Hear anything?" "All clear," says Igor.
Then a shape at the end of the hallway. Seven and a half-feet-tall. It folds down on to all fours. Igor has a Death Wish. He shreds a burst from the combat shotgun into the thing. Its arms unfold and hair drapes to the ground, slick. Igor shoots again. Marty hears it from outside and starts boarding the Aphrodite with Capella. The beast screams. It is the entity from the Alexis. Igor resists the roar and launches another burst. In an instant the entity bends, reversed; its arms becoming triple-jointed legs, its gaping face a crotch, and its hind legs are long muscular talons that launch out and impale Igor at the shoulders. He's stretched wider than he is tall. The creature folds over Igor backwards and tears into the soldier's stomach with its teeth. Igor pools onto the ship's floor in a puddle of wet innards.
Marty and Capella open the airlock to witness the beast vomiting up a spinal-cord-like serpent that floats in the air towards the surviving duo. Capella flees. The serpent uncoils into a soft grasping claw. Floating so slowly... Marty shoots it to the ground, dead. He sprays the entity with bullets. As it starts to move forward Marty escapes the ship and closes the airlock.
Capella starts sprinting towards Brekt with Bobby strapped to his back. Marty breaks into the windows of the Aphrodite's command module and wakes up Beef. The two cut power to the Aphrodite. A scream thunders through the hull.
Marty and Beef board the APC. "Kokomo" automatically starts from its music player as the ignition is switched on.
Beef holds out a hand to the sprinting Capella as Marty covers the distance towards the Breakers...
