Day 13, 12:00pm —

Nothing of note, just another day on the road to the city of Grift.

Day 14 —

The party finds an abandoned keep and explores it. Calypso uncovers some rubble and finds the Chains of Death, a magical set of manacles, which Stile keeps. Victoria socializes with some crows in the courtyard and makes a friend, a crow named “ERR EEHN” (Ernie) who hangs out inside the party’s new birdcage they have hanging in their wagon. Stile and Gorthron climb the tower, finding destroyed briefcases. In the only intact briefcase they find a bag of seeds: Flower of Disease. Stile finds half of a treasure map leading to the Galgenbeck catacombs. On the first floor of the tower there’s an alchemist hermit mixing potions with miniature tools. He pranks Stile, giving him a potion of hair loss, turns into a crow, and flees.

9:30pm —

Entering the city of Grift. A local named Monty says he’ll protect their wagon and lead them to Rofo’s party (where there will most likely be tracy) in exchange for coin. While waiting for the party to start they enter a bathhouse. Stile wanted an actual bath but got a naked woman, so he just talks to her for an hour. Victoria has actual sex. Meanwhile, Gorthron and Calypso explore the streets of Grift, find a very intense Doom Chapel, and decide not to enter because it is very scary.

Grift

At the party Stile and Gorthron make an entrance by starting an archery contest about accurately shooting an apple off Gorthron’s head from the balcony. Art, a drunk archer, wins the contest against Stile. Gorthron has a near-lethal encounter with a bougie canid who calls himself The Fox.

Rofo enters with his Demon Conductor bodyguards. The party gets his attention, and he invites them down, leading them to his office. He makes a deal with Gorthron for a dose of tracy. Gorthron signs the contract, doesn’t read it all the way through, and it seems like the tracy cost them nothing. For now…

Later, Gorthron performs comedy in front of an audience on the balcony, succeeds (unlocking the Comedian class), falls off a balcony, drops almost all of his items, and nearly dies.

Day 15, 2:00pm —

The party wakes up a few hours outside of Grift in their wagon. Calypso kept watch all night (and is now exhausted).
