MFP 6: Death

Day 22, 5:00am —

The Motherfuckers travel to the southwestern Grift bridge.

9:00am —

The party’s caravan of Blasterace and Witch Asteroid start following a road chase between 20 Western Front soldiers and 6 cloaked runners. They decide to send Zaq around the side of the road with Witch Asteroid, and drive Blasterace straight into the horde of soldiers.

Battle ensues, the Motherfuckers becoming greatly outnumbered. The cloaked runners reveal themselves as Mascot Guild assassins. The assassins flee the battle. Calypso is swarmed and killed. Pandorog is killed. Blasterace is raided in the middle of the combat and stolen by the Western Front soldiers. The tea merchant is executed. They soldiers chase after the fleeing assassins and run them over, killing them.

The Western Front

Gorthron and Victoria catch up to Zaq and board the Witch Asteroid, picking up Stile moments before he’s almost killed by the remaining 15 soldiers. Gorthron and Stile sustain heavy injuries, as well as continue going through withdrawals (gorthron’s drugs were destroyed in combat).

Zaq and Victoria take turns driving Witch Asteroid at full speed, escaping the Western Front who now drives Blasterace.

Day 23, 1:00pm —

They reach a cave off the southeastern edge of Grift and hunker down. The remaining Motherfuckers rest.

9:00pm —

Victoria starts foraging and hunting Grift dogs outside of the cave so the party can survive and rest until Gorthron and Stile recover from their injuries and drug addictions.

Day 33, 7:00am —

Fully recovered, the Motherfuckers continue their journey to the southwestern Grift bridge.

11:00am —

Two hunters chase after an animal in the distance. Shellshocked, the party ignores it.

3:00pm —

The party arrives at the bridge. Stile pays the tax to enter the Western Kingdom and notices a mysterious passenger in the back of Witch Asteroid (Gorthron, Zaq, and Victoria miniaturized in the hatch of the wagon). Feyrien introduces herself.

Thresh swoops down with his vierwinged falcon after tracking the Motherfuckers for a month. Victoria decides to shoot Thresh with a crossbow, one-hit executing him. Victoria communicates with Thresh’s falcon and makes a political alliance with it. It’ll meet them at Brandonsford.

Tall, smooth gray skin, thin predatory eyes. Organic armor like a bug’s exoskeleton. The proud owner of numerous exotic birds from across the dying lands.

6:00pm —

In the Western Kingdom, outside the southwestern Grift bridge. Feyrien takes a watch as the party rests.

Gorthron walks northwest alone for 8 hours, becoming exhausted. He stares into the abyss between the Western Kingdom and Tveland for a minute. He looks at Thresh’s locket he stole from his adoptive dad’s corpse. He throws it into the abyss. And walks back to Witch Asteroid.
